The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize was established in 2022 by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation, with title sponsorship from the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. Its charter is designed to promote scientific and standardized management of the prize, and it sets out guidelines for the Review Committee, Compliance Oversight Team and Secretariat to follow. The Board is responsible for reviewing and interpreting the charter, suggesting important scientific research fields for THE PRIZE, appointing members of the Review Committee, and setting requirements for nominating experts. It is also responsible for verifying and approving the final review results. This will ensure that the HK Prize is an objective and fair award.
