A sdy pool is a shallow, flat, submerged area in a swimming pool that serves as an ideal spot for lounging and sunbathing. They also provide a safe and fun space for children to play. At Sydney Poolscapes, we offer a range of sdy pools that are customised to suit the size and overall design of your fibreglass pool.
The most popular choice for sdy pools is solar, as it’s both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. It’s also relatively easy to install and maintain.
However, some pool owners prefer to go the extra mile and invest in a sdy pool that is heated using gas or electricity. This option is more costly, but it’s worth the investment for the added comfort and convenience.
Once you’ve obtained the necessary approvals, our team will arrive to dig and prepare the site for installation. Then, we’ll deliver and position your brand-new fibreglass swimming pool. After that, we’ll complete the finishing touches – including landscaping and decking, if required. Our skilled construction and installation teams will ensure your new sdy pool looks and functions exactly as you imagined it.
If you’re ready to get started with your new pool, call our friendly team of swimming pool builders and installers today. We’re here to help you create the perfect swimming pool that will make your home and backyard a great place to relax and entertain.
North Sydney Olympic Pool fostered the careers of swimming legends like Dawn Fraser and Frank O’Neill, smashed 86 world records at the iconic 87-year-old venue, and provided exercise and respite from the heat for thousands of other swimmers. But now, three years after it closed for redevelopment, the pool is still waiting to reopen.
The project has been beset by council infighting, claims of pork-barrelling and a lack of transparency, heritage concerns, and criticism from health organisations. Its budget has blown out to more than $100m, and the opening date has been pushed back to late 2024 or early 2025.
Despite this, locals are remaining optimistic. Icon SI, which is leading the redevelopment, says it’s working closely with council to ensure the pool is completed to the highest possible standard by October 2020. It will include a new family pool and creche, a gym, sauna and grandstand, as well as the structural modernisation the aging facility desperately needs.
