When it comes to choosing the right pool for your home, there are a lot of factors to consider. You need to think about how often you’ll use the pool and if it will provide value for your money. You also need to take into account the cost of maintenance and how much it will increase the value of your property. If you’re thinking of buying a pool, it’s important to weigh all these things before making a decision.
Fortunately, there are plenty of great public and government-run pools in Hong Kong that you can visit this summer. Many of these pools are affordable and have top-notch facilities, including water slides and other fun features for kids. Plus, many of them are located in beautiful areas with amazing views!
Here are some of our favourite hk pools where you can cool off and relax this summer.
Tai Po Swimming Pool
With the longest and highest water slides of all the government-owned pools in Hong Kong, it’s no wonder that this pool is always packed both during the weekdays and on weekends. It also has one of the most extensive sets of pools of all the government-owned pools, with seven pools including teaching, diving and leisure pools. It’s also a popular spot for parents looking for somewhere to swim with their little ones.
If you’re looking for a pool that’s more family-friendly, this pool in Sai Kung is a great option. It has a variety of water slides suitable for varying ages, so you can easily keep the kids entertained while you swim a few laps. It’s also conveniently located, being close to Happy Valley and Causeway Bay.
Another great option is this outdoor pool in Central. It’s a bit more quiet than some of the other pools, and it has a number of lounge chairs and snack bars where you can relax while the kids are splashing away in the water. It’s also a great place to sit and enjoy the fantastic view of Victoria Harbour.
While public and government-owned swimming pools are great, they can get crowded, especially during the summer. If you’re looking for a more private experience, many hotels in Hong Kong have their own swimming pools. Some offer incredible views, top-notch facilities and dining options, while others are perfect for a relaxing day of splashing around in the water with a glass of wine in hand!
