He donated these “bootleg” recordings to UW-Madison.
The Iwanter Prize is the most prestigious sidney prize in the College of Letters and Science and is an unrestricted award. The judging committee considers past accomplishments and the student’s potential to continue making significant contributions to the nation’s culture, religion, politics, business, law, or education into the future.
The Sidney Myer Performing Arts Awards are decided by a judging panel on a national basis and are meant to recognise the importance of the performing arts in affirming our sense of community spirit as Australians. Nominees are assessed on their achievements and contribution to Australia’s cultural heritage, as well as on their potential to contribute to the country’s performance culture into the future. They are awarded subject to the submission of a signed and dated copyright release form. Nominations close in September and October each year.
